Ginger tabby cats are adored by many people all over the world, including Bazooka who has a special fondness for them. What makes Bazooka unique, however, is his remarkable size. The Wake SPCA in North Carolina had to send two drivers to pick him up because he weighs an impressive 35lbs! Despite his massive size, Bazooka seems unfazed by everything around him and is content to go with the flow.
A delightful feline of five years old caught the attention of many at the Wake County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and is now a sensation on the web. Bazooka, as he is called, was brought all the way from Davidson County, located around two hours away. With just a single look, he captured the hearts of the SPCA staff. Darci Vanderslik, an SPCA representative, said that they were informed about Bazooka’s situation, and upon seeing his photos, they knew they had to take this charming kitty in.
Bazooka, a cute ginger tabby, was brought to the shelter due to the unfortunate passing of his previous owner, who had dementia. The shelter staff discovered that Bazooka was unintentionally overfed on a regular basis. However, there is no need to worry as the kind shelter staff has put Bazooka on a new diet and weight loss program to help him regain his health. Despite his size, Bazooka has a chill and relaxed personality that makes him easy to care for. The shelter staff is determined to help Bazooka lose weight gradually until he reaches a healthy weight range of 20-25 pounds. Although a loving new home is waiting for Bazooka, there are still many other adorable cats available for adoption. Every pound that Bazooka loses will significantly improve his quality of life.
