The organization that found Belle, called CLAW, had a difficult task ahead of them. They couldn’t remove most of the ticks from Belle immediately because it would cause her to lose too much blood. Therefore, they opted to provide her with treatment and wait for the ticks to fall off on their own.
Although it was tough to see Belle in pain, the strategy for treatment turned out to be effective. In the end, all the ticks were gone, and Belle began to recover.
Despite some scars, Belle seems unfazed by them and is now a charming and happy pup with a beautiful fur coat. The areas where she lost hair due to ticks are regrowing, and most importantly, she has finally found happiness. The most heartening part of this tale is that Belle has been adopted into a loving and caring home with a human named Hannah.
