Unveiling the Mesmerizing Charm of Grandala Coelicolor: A Spectacular Avian Wonder with Enchanting Blue Feathers

The avian world is home to some truly breathtaking creatures. With their vibrant plumage, these birds can leave us humans wondering if they are even real.

One bird that is truly remarkable in its appearance is the Grandala Coelicolor. Its stunning deep blue coat is captivating and enchanting, making it impossible to miss if you happen to catch a glimpse of it.

Coelicolors are a stunning shade of blue all over, with the exception of their bill, eyes, and legs. It’s hard to believe that such a beautiful combination of dark blue and black exists in nature. Their feathers are truly magnificent and I’m completely enamored with these creatures.

Male birds have all the distinct characteristics, while the females are identifiable by their brown color with white streaks on their head and breast, along with white bars on their wings.

The natural habitat of grandala coelicolors is in the Indian Subcontinent, particularly in mid to low altitude areas. You can find them living in the Himalayas in countries like Bhutan, India, Nepal, Tibet, and some parts of China.

The Coelicolors have a taste for insects and have a preference for catching them in mid-air rather than pursuing them on the ground. In addition to insects, they also consume fruits and berries.

From May to July, these birds construct their nest on a ledge and it’s shaped like a cup, which is fascinating. This is all done during the breeding period.

Don’t be shy to spread the word about your admiration for this striking avian creature by sharing this post with your loved ones. Enjoy!
